About the Role
\n<\/strong>We are excited to announce multiple opportunities for Bowls Technicians specialising in the construction and installation of artificial surfaces within our bowls department. Based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, this role offers the exciting chance to travel across Australia. You will be responsible for the professional construction and installation of TigerTurf’s synthetic surfaces for our esteemed bowls clients.<\/p>\n

This dynamic position involves working with a diverse range of clients, including bowls clubs, councils, and retirement villages throughout Australia. As this is a customer-facing role, maintaining a neat and professional appearance, along with a polite and customer-focused attitude, is essential.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrate exceptional punctuality<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Represent the company in a professional manner<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Organise on site activities in consultation with the site manager<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Plan and coordinate daily activities with site manager<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Manage work programs in consultation with the site manager<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Effectively communicate with suppliers<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Administer WHSEQ systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure onsite records are maintained<\/p>\n

Skills and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Valid current driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Construction Industry White Card (or willingness to obtain)<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experienced at the construction & installation of artificial grass bowling greens (experience with sewn surfaces will be seen as an advantage)<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience with relevant machinery (excavator, rollers, loaders, specialised installation equipment, motorised backpack blowers) is an advantage<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to travel when required<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Available to work weekends<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Friendly, can-do attitude<\/p>\n
